With his Excellency Mr. SAKOMBI MOLENDO Aimé, the Minister of Land Affairs in the DRC, HARMIAD signed the Memorandum of Understanding, on Thursday November 12, 2020, concerning the Pre-feasibility study to be carried out in the DRC.
The negotiations between HARMIAD and the DRC, which had been going on for quite some time, gained speed with the arrival of team HARMIAD in Kinshasa on November 10, 2020. For two days, both administrative and technical meetings have continued non-stop in Kinshasa where an important session took place on 12 November 2020, during which the important personalities of the DRC presented their speeches.
Following the speeches of important personalities in the conference of November 12, 2020 in which the Congolese press also participated, Mr. BULUT Hasan, the Chairman of the Administrative Council of HARMIAD delivered his speech relating to the advantages of a digital cadastre. Finally, His Excellency Mr. SAKOMBI MOLENDO, Aimé, the Minister of Land Affairs ended the conference with his speech.
After all the speeches were completed, His Excellency Mr. SAKOMBI MOLENDO, Aimé, the Minister of Land Affairs and Mr. BULUT Hasan, the Chairman of the Administrative Council of HARMIAD, signed the Memorandum of Understanding, in Kinshasa on November 12 2020.
With the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding of November 12, 2020, the Pre-feasibility study which will be the first step of the Pilot Project relating to the digitization of the cadastre of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. To do this, the HARMIAD technical Committee will complete their field work during their stay in Kinshasa before they finally return to Turkey.
